I'd forgotten about Quinnins. Is there a story for him in your future?
The butler sees all and says nothing. He knows all the household secrets. Above and below stairs having a romantic liaison is certain social death for the aristocracy and no references for the staff.
I love the pictures you've used for your characters, Anne! What a great idea. I do collage type story boards when I'm working on a book, but have never gone into such picture detail for characters. Thanks for the idea!
Those butlers like keeping a low profile. It's an excellent cover. He looks too intelligent, though, and has that direct look. Is that a good thing?Interesting profiles, Anne.
Bish -- I'm not sure if there's an actual story yet. I may dabble a bit with a short story format, maybe, in a few years. Maybe. Janice -- Ah, yes. Upstairs, downstairs. However, Mr. Quiggins is a most unusual man, and Lady Olivia is a most unusual woman. They take the social boundaries and throw them out the window.Lesley-Anne -- My pleasure. I'm glad I could help. I find the use of pics for my characters a big help in characterization.D.G. -- Quiggins' direct look is a very good thing. He can do more with one look than most people with an array of facial expressions. I just love him.
